Section 76

Exemption

Nothing in this Act is to be construed so as to prevent any of the following persons from carrying on any activity or business (other than an activity or a business mentioned in Part 8) for which the person is registered or licensed under the following respective Act corresponding to that person:

(a)

any business of pawnbroking carried on by a person licensed under the Pawnbrokers Act 2015;

(b)

any finance company licensed under the Finance Companies Act 1967.
