Administration of this Act
(1)
The Monetary Authority of Singapore is charged with the general administration of this Act and the exercise of the functions imposed upon it by this Act.
(2)
The Authority may authorise or appoint any person to assist the Authority in the exercise of its functions and duties under this Act, either generally or in any particular way.
(3)
Any person authorised or appointed by the Authority pursuant to subsection (2) is deemed to be a public servant within the meaning of the Penal Code 1871.
