Section 41

Endangering life or property

Every person subject to military law who does an act in relation to any thing or substance that may be dangerous to life or property, which act causes, or is likely to cause, loss of life or bodily injury to any person or causes, or is likely to cause, damage to or destruction of any property shall —

(a)

if he or she acted wilfully, be guilty of an offence and be liable on conviction by a subordinate military court to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 5 years or any less punishment authorised by this Act; and

(b)

if he or she acted negligently, be guilty of an offence and be liable on conviction by a subordinate military court to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 3 years or any less punishment authorised by this Act.
