Establishment of Sentosa Development Corporation
(1)
For the purposes of this Act, there shall be established a corporation to be known as the Sentosa Development Corporation.
(2)
The Corporation shall consist of a Chairman, a Deputy Chairman and such number of other members as the Minister may from time to time determine.
(3)
The total number of members shall not be less than 8 nor more than 15.
(4)
The Corporation shall be a body corporate with perpetual succession and a common seal, and shall be capable of —
acquiring, holding and disposing of movable and immovable property;
suing and being sued; and (c)doing and suffering all such acts and things as bodies corporate may lawfully do and suffer.
(5)
The members of the Corporation shall be appointed by the Minister, who shall also appoint the Chairman and the Deputy Chairman from amongst its members.
(6)
The fixing of the seal of the Corporation shall be authenticated by the signature of the Chairman or the Deputy Chairman or of some other person authorised either generally or specially by the Corporation to act for that purpose.
