Section 16

Rectification of register

(1)

Where it appears to the High Court, as a result of evidence adduced before it, that —

(a)

any of the particulars recorded in a register is incorrect;

(b)

a misleading business name has been registered; or

(c)

the use of a business name should be prohibited,the High Court may, by order, direct the Registrar to rectify the register in the manner specified in the order.

(2)

The Registrar shall, upon receipt of the order, rectify the register accordingly. [14
