Application for registration

(1)
Subject to the provisions of this Act, every person shall, before carrying on business in Singapore, make an application to the Registrar in the prescribed manner for registration under this Act.

Notwithstanding this section, only one application for registration is required to be made where the same person or persons carry on business under the same business name.
