Penalty for offences for which no express penalty is provided
(1)
Subject to the following provisions of this Part, any person guilty of an offence under this Act for which no express penalty is provided by this Act shall be liable on conviction —
if he is an employed person, to a fine not exceeding $1,000; and
in any other case, to a fine not exceeding $2,000,and, if the contravention in respect of which he was so convicted continues after the conviction, he shall (subject to section 90) be guilty of a further offence and shall be liable in respect thereof to a fine not exceeding $100 for every day during which the contravention was so continued.

In relation to a contravention which was likely to cause the death of, or bodily injury to, any person, the person guilty of an offence shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $10,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 6 months or to both and, if the contravention in respect of which he was so convicted continues after the conviction, he shall (subject to section 90) be guilty of a further offence and shall be liable in respect thereof to a fine not exceeding $1,000 for every day during which the contravention was so continued.
(3)
In relation to a contravention which results in the death of, or serious bodily injury to, any person, the person guilty of an offence shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $25,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding one year or to both.[82
