Persons to whom directions may be given

The Director‑General may give a direction under this Part to all or any of the following, individually or as a class:
(a)
a licensee; (b)a proprietor of a food business or food premises, if not a licensee; (c)an importer of any food or food contact article; (d)an exporter of any food or food contact article; (e)a manufacturer of any food contact article; (f)a person carrying on a business of selling or supplying (by wholesale or retail) any food contact article; (g)a person in control of, or reasonably appearing to be in control of, food or any thing that may become food.
