Section 10K
Non-compliance with food safety measures
(1)
A person to whom a direction under this Part is addressed must not, without reasonable excuse —
carry on an activity in contravention of the direction; (b)neglect or refuse to comply with any such direction; or
fail to comply with a condition specified in such a direction.
(2)
A person who contravenes subsection (1) shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $10,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 12 months or to both.
(3)
A person must not remove the copy of any direction affixed to any food premises under section 10C(1)(c) while that direction remains in force.
(4)
A person who contravenes subsection (3) shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $5,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 6 months or to both.
