Section 13

in connection with any application for the grant or renewal of a licence; or

for any other purpose under this Act or the regulations,makes any statement or furnishes any information to the Board or an officer of the Board that the person knows, or ought reasonably to know, is false, or misleading (including by reason of any omission), in any material particular, shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $10,000.
