Section 17

In any case relating to the commission of an offence under this Act or the regulations, any police officer and any officer of the Board authorised in writing in that behalf by the Board may exercise all or any of the special powers in relation to any arrestable case mentioned in section 18(1) of the Criminal Procedure Code 2010.
