Power to demand names and addresses
(1)
The owner or occupier of any premises shall, if required by the Director or any public officer authorised by him in that behalf, give his name and address and such other proof of identity as the Director or public officer may require and furnish such other particulars as the Director or public officer may require for the purposes of this Act.
(2)
Any person who upon being required by the Director or a public officer to give his name and address or to furnish any particulars under subsection (1) wilfully mis-states his name and address or furnishes false particulars shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $1,000.[59
