Section 64

Furnishing of deposits

(1)

Where any permit, consent or approval is given by the Director under this Act for the execution of any work, the Director may require a deposit to be furnished by the person applying for the permit, consent or approval to secure the execution of the work.

(2)

Where any such work is not executed to the satisfaction of the Director, he may utilise the deposit or any part thereof to make good the defects.[63
