Section 21

Transfer of estate or interest in residential property vested in foreign person

(1)

Where any estate or interest in any residential property that is not non‑restricted residential property is vested in any foreign person and that foreign person is desirous of transferring the same, the foreign person must not transfer any estate or interest in that residential property to any person other than a citizen or an approved purchaser.

(2)

Any transfer made in contravention of subsection (1) is void.
