Section 18

Subject to the provisions of this Act, the Corporation may grant to any company a licence to operate the Mass Rapid Transit System for such period as may be specified in the licence.

Every licensee shall be authorised under this Act to operate the Mass Rapid Transit System for the period specified in the licence unless the licence is earlier revoked, cancelled or suspended under the provisions of this Act.

The fee for a licence to operate the Mass Rapid Transit System shall be such amount as may be prescribed.[16B
