Operating expenses
(1)
It shall be the duty of the Corporation to ensure as far as possible that, taking one year with another, its revenue is at least sufficient to meet its operating expenses.
(2)
In this section, “operating expenses” shall not include —
(a)
interest, fees and other charges in respect of loans incurred under section 24(2); and
(b)
operating expenses associated directly with the construction and equipping of the Mass Rapid Transit System,the payment of which shall be met from funds provided by the Minister for Finance to the Corporation pursuant to section 24(1).[19
