Section 26

Compensation to other persons interested in property requisitioned

Where any person (called in this section a person interested) other than the person by whom any property is required to be requisitioned or acquired has any interest in the property —

(a)

the person by whom the property is required to be requisitioned or acquired must notify any person known to that person to be a person interested that the property has been requisitioned or acquired, as the case may be; and

(b)

any person interested is entitled to recover from the person by whom the property has been requisitioned or acquired such part (if any) of the compensation received by that person for the property as may be just.
