Notice of particulars to Authority
(1)
A person to whom this Part applies shall give notice to the Authority in the prescribed form containing such particulars as are prescribed including the place at which he will keep the register of his interests in securities .
(2)
The notice shall be given —
in the case of a person who is required by this Act to hold a licence — as part of his application for the licence; or
in the case of any other person — if the person becomes a person to whom this Part applies within 14 days after becoming such a person.
(3)
The notice shall be so given notwithstanding that the person has ceased to be a person to whom this Part applies before the expiration of the period referred to in subsection (2).
(4)
A person who ceases to be a person to whom this Part applies shall, within 14 days of his so ceasing, give notice of the fact to the Authority.
(5)
A person who fails or neglects to give notice as required by this section shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $2,000.
