General meetings of Institute
(1)
A general meeting, other than the annual general meeting, shall be known as an extraordinary general meeting.
(2)
The Council —
(a)
shall convene an extraordinary general meeting upon a requisition in writing made by not less than 50 members of the Institute entitled to vote within 3 months from the date of such requisition; and
(b)
may convene an extraordinary general meeting on such other occasions as it thinks fit.[42
