Establishment of Tribunal
(1)
There shall be established a Tribunal, to be called the Copyright Tribunal, which shall consist of a President of the Tribunal and of not less than 2 nor more than 4 other members appointed by the Minister.
(2)
The President of the Tribunal shall possess the qualifications required for a District Judge under section 9(3) of the Subordinate Courts Act (Cap. 321).
(3)
There shall be paid to the members of the Tribunal who are not public officers such remuneration (whether by way of salaries or fees), and such allowances, as the Minister may determine.
(4)
The Minister may appoint such officers and employees of the Tribunal as the Minister may determine.
(5)
The remuneration and allowances of the members of the Tribunal and such other expenses of the Tribunal as the Minister may determine shall be paid out of moneys provided by Parliament.
(6)
The remuneration of the officers and employees appointed under subsection (4) shall be paid out of the funds of the Office. [Aust. 1968, s. 138]
