Section 4

Delegation of power by Director-General

(1)

The Director-General may, with the approval of the Minister, delegate the exercise of all or any of the powers conferred or duties imposed upon the Director‑General by this Act to any authorised officer, subject to any conditions or limitations that the Director‑General may specify.

(2)

The Director-General may, with the approval of the Minister, appoint any person set out in the first column of the Fourth Schedule as an authorised officer for the purposes of exercising all or any of the powers under this Act that are set out in the second column of that Schedule, subject to any conditions or limitations that the Director‑General may specify.
