Section 80B

The purpose of this Part is to regulate and upgrade cleaning standards and productivity in the cleaning industry in Singapore by licensing cleaning businesses with requirements for the training of cleaners and the payment of progressive wages to cleaners that ensure a more engaged cleaning workforce and the retention of a core of resident cleaners.
