Section 80F

Application for cleaning business licence

(1)

Every application for a cleaning business licence must —

(a)

be made to the Director‑General in any form and manner that the Director‑General may require; and

(b)

be accompanied by —

(i)

the prescribed application fee (if any);

(ii)

a progressive wage plan in respect of the applicant’s cleaning business that conforms with section 80G(5); and

(iii)

any other particulars, information and documents that the Director‑General may require.

The applicant must, at the request of the Director‑General, provide any further information or evidence that the Director‑General may require to decide the application.

Any person who, in relation to any application for the grant or renewal of a cleaning business licence, submits a false document or makes a statement which is false or misleading in any material particular shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $5,000 and, in the case of a second or subsequent conviction, to a fine not exceeding $10,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 3 months or to both.
