False or misleading information

A person shall be guilty of an offence if —
(a)
the person provides information to a police officer, the Director‑General, the Director‑General, Food Administration or any authorised officer (including an authorised officer within the meaning of section 31W) in connection with any of his or her functions or duties under this Act;
(b)
the information is false or misleading in a material particular; and
(c)
the person knew that that information is false or misleading in a material particular or is reckless as to whether it is so.
