President and vice-presidents
(1)
The Chief Justice is the president of the Academy.
(2)
The Senate may appoint from among its members any number of vice‑presidents of the Academy as it may think fit.
(3)
The president may delegate his or her duties to any of the vice‑presidents.
(4)
The president or in his or her absence any of the vice‑presidents presides at all meetings of the Senate.
(5)
A vice-president of the Academy who ceases to be a member of the Senate ceases to be vice‑president.
