Section 5

Restriction on sale of scheduled species

(1)

No person shall sell, offer or expose for sale, or display to the public such scheduled species as the Minister may, by notification in the Gazette, specify.

Any person who contravenes subsection (1) shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $2,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 3 months or to both. [4A
