Section 3

Establishment of Authority

A body called the Urban Redevelopment Authority is established, which is a body corporate with perpetual succession and with power to —

(a)

sue and be sued in its corporate name;

(b)

acquire and dispose of property, both movable and immovable;

(c)

perform any other acts that bodies corporate may by law perform; and

(d)

exercise any other powers that are conferred under or by virtue of this Act.
