Section 25

Sale of ship

Where the owner, master or agent of a ship has been convicted of an offence under the provisions of this Act or any regulations made under this Act and any fine imposed in respect of the conviction is not paid at the time ordered by the court, the court has, in addition to any power for enforcing payment, the power to direct the amount remaining unpaid to be levied by distress and sale of the ship, her tackle, furniture and apparel.
