Disclosure of information on child or young person by foster parent
A foster parent of a child or young person may disclose any information relating to the child or young person to any person (whether with or without the consent of any parent or guardian of the child or young person) if the disclosure is necessary —
for the care, protection and supervision of the child or young person; or
to enable the foster parent to claim the following where the foster parent is eligible:
childcare leave or extended childcare leave under section 12B of the Child Development Co‑Savings Act 2001;
unpaid infant care leave under section 12D of the Child Development Co‑Savings Act 2001;
childcare leave under section 87A of the Employment Act 1968.[27C
