Person‑in‑charge or his or her executor or administrator may cancel certificate

(1)
The person‑in‑charge of any appointed juvenile rehabilitation centre or place of safety may, upon giving 6 months’ previous notice, and the executors and administrators of a deceased person‑in‑charge may, upon giving one month’s previous written notice of his, her or their intention to do so, apply for the cancellation of the certificate given to the juvenile rehabilitation centre or place of safety.

Where a notice has been given under subsection (1) and has not been withdrawn, the certificate is deemed on the expiry of the notice to be cancelled, and such cancellation must be published in the Gazette.[60
