Section 8
Application for and certificate of registration
(1)
Any person who satisfies the requirements of section 7 may apply to the Registrar for registration as a contact lens practitioner.
(2)
An application for registration shall be made in such form as the Registrar may require and shall be accompanied by the prescribed fee.
(3)
Where an applicant has complied with the requirements of subsections (1) and (2), the Registrar shall —
(a)
register his name and other relevant particulars in the register; and
(b)
issue to him a certificate of registration in the prescribed form.
