National colours for Singapore ships
(1)
The Minister is to prescribe an ensign, which is the proper national colours for a Singapore ship.
(2)
If any distinctive national colours other than the said ensign are hoisted on board any Singapore ship without the consent of the Minister, the master of the ship or the owner thereof if on board the ship, and every other person hoisting the colours shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $1,000.
