Correction of errors in register
(1)
The Registrar may correct any clerical error or obvious mistake in the register of a Singapore ship.
(2)
Any error relating to the particulars descriptive of a ship in the register may be corrected by entry (but so that the original entry remains legible) by the Registrar on the production to the Registrar, by the owner requiring the error to be corrected, of a declaration setting forth the nature of the error and the facts of the case and made by the owner or some other person having knowledge of the facts of the case.
