Regulations
(1)
The Authority may, with the approval of the Minister, make regulations for or in respect of every purpose which it considers necessary for carrying out the provisions of this Act, and in particular, without limiting the foregoing, for or in respect of all or any of the matters specified in the Schedule.
(2)
The Minister may, from time to time, by notification in the Gazette, add to, alter or amend the Schedule.
(3)
The Authority may, with the approval of the Minister, in making any regulations, prescribe the circumstances in which it is presumed that an offence under the provisions of any such regulations was committed.
(4)
The Authority may, with the approval of the Minister, in making any regulations, provide that any contravention of, or failure or neglect to comply with, any regulations shall be an offence and may prescribe the fine with which the offence shall be punishable, but the fine must not exceed for any one offence the sum of $2,000 and, in the case of a continuing offence, the sum of $100 for every day or part of a day during which the offence continues after conviction.
(5)
All regulations made under this Act must be presented to Parliament as soon as possible after publication in the Gazette.
