Section 14

Specifications for construction of shelters

The Commissioner may —

(a)

issue or approve and, from time to time, review and amend the specifications, technical codes and standards relating to the design, construction and maintenance of shelters to be provided under this Act and the equipment to be installed in the shelters; and

(b)

if circumstances so require, modify, subject to such conditions as the Commissioner may impose, the requirements of any of the specifications in respect of any building, house or flat in which a shelter is to be provided under this Act.
