Medical practitioner not to practise during suspension from practice

(1)
No registered medical practitioner whose registration in the appropriate register is suspended under Part 7 shall practise medicine or act as a medical practitioner during his suspension.

Any registered medical practitioner who contravenes subsection (1) shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $10,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 2 years or to both.
