Section 23E

Charges and other terms for public parcel locker network operated by Postal Authority

(1)

The Postal Authority may, in respect of the public parcel locker network or part thereof operated by the Postal Authority under section 23D, determine either or both of the following:

(a)

the charges for the use of any public parcel locker, unless otherwise agreed by an agreement between the Postal Authority and a person using the public parcel locker;

(b)

the other terms and conditions which, except as provided in this Part, are to be applicable to the public parcel locker network or part thereof.

The Postal Authority may make different provision for different cases or classes of cases.

A charge payable under subsection (1)(a) may be recovered by the Postal Authority in any court of competent jurisdiction as if it were a simple contract debt.

Nothing in this section prohibits the Postal Authority from levying any charge or collecting any dues for anything done or any service rendered other than for the use of a public parcel locker; and the rates, charges and fees payable to the Postal Authority for any service rendered must be in accordance with any rates, charges and fees determined by the Postal Authority.
