Interpretation
In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires —“Agency” means the Defence Science and Technology Agency established under section 3;“board” means the board of directors of the Agency;“Chairperson” means the Chairperson of the board and includes any temporary Chairperson of the board;“Chief Executive” means the Chief Executive of the Agency, and includes any individual acting in that capacity;“director” means a director of the board;“incorporated Departments” means the following departments of the Ministry of Defence:
Command, Control, Communications and Computer Systems Organisation;
Defence Materiel Organisation;
Defence Medical Research Institute;
Defence Procurement Division;
Directorate of Research and Development;
Lands and Estates Organisation;
Resource Planning Office;
Systems and Computer Organisation;“Singapore Armed Forces” means the Singapore Armed Forces constituted under the Singapore Armed Forces Act 1972.
