Section 1

Short title and application

This Act is the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 2001.(2) Subject to subsection (3), this Act does not apply in relation to a contract entered into before the end of the period of 6 months from 1 January 2002.(3) The restriction in subsection (2) does not apply in relation to a contract which —

(a)

is entered into on or after 1 January 2002; and

(b)

expressly provides for the application of this Act.

The restriction in subsection (2) does not apply in relation to a contract which —

(a)
