Section 307

Revocation of exemption

(1)

Where the Authority considers that it is necessary in the interests of the public or for the protection of investors, it may revoke any exemption under this Subdivision (including an exemption granted under section 306(1)), subject to such conditions as it thinks fit.

(2)

The Authority may revoke an exemption under subsection (1) without giving the person affected by the revocation an opportunity to be heard, but the person may, within 14 days of the revocation, apply to the Authority for the revocation to be reviewed by the Authority, and the revocation remains in effect unless it is withdrawn by the Authority.

(3)

A revocation under this section is final and there is no appeal from the revocation.
