Insofar as is necessary for preserving the effect of any written law or document on or after 1 July 2002 —

(a)

a reference therein to the Commissioner of Public Health is to be read as a reference to the Director‑General of Public Health appointed under the Environmental Public Health Act 1987;

(b)

a reference therein to the Director of Environmental Pollution Control is to be read as a reference to the Director‑General of Environmental Protection; and

(c)

a reference therein to the Director of Meteorological Service is to be read as a reference to the Director‑General of Meteorological Service.
