Extraterritoriality
(1)
Every person who, outside Singapore, commits an act or omission that, if committed in Singapore, would constitute an offence, an abetment of an offence, or a conspiracy or attempt to commit an offence under section 3, 4 or 5 is deemed to commit the act or omission in Singapore and may be proceeded against, charged, tried and punished accordingly.
(2)
Where an offence under section 6 or 8 is committed by a citizen of Singapore in any place outside Singapore, the citizen may be dealt with in respect of that offence as if it had been committed within Singapore.
