Quorum, chairperson, voting, etc., at meetings
(1)
So far as the trust deed of a registered business trust does not make any other provision in that behalf and subject to section 58 —
2 unitholders of the registered business trust personally present form a quorum;
any unitholder of the registered business trust elected by the unitholders present at a meeting may be chairperson of the meeting;
on a show of hands, each unitholder of the registered business trust who is personally present and entitled to vote has one vote; and
on a poll, each unitholder of the registered business trust has one vote in respect of each unit in the registered business trust held by the unitholder.
(2)
On a poll taken at a meeting, a person entitled to more than one vote need not, if the person votes, use all the person’s votes or cast all the votes the person uses in the same way.
