Section 59

Unitholder’s rights at meetings

Every unitholder of a registered business trust, despite any provision in the trust deed of the registered business trust, has a right to attend any general meeting of the unitholders of the registered business trust and to speak and vote on any resolution before the meeting, except that the trust deed may provide that a unitholder is not entitled to vote unless all calls or other sums personally payable by the unitholder in respect of units in the registered business trust have been paid.
