Inspection of minute books
(1)
The trustee‑manager of a registered business trust must —
keep the books mentioned in section 67(1) at the registered office or the principal place of business in Singapore of the trustee‑manager; and
make the books available for inspection by any unitholder of the registered business trust without charge.
(2)
The trustee‑manager of a registered business trust must, within 14 days after any unitholder of the registered business trust has made a request in writing for a copy of any minutes specified in section 67(1), provide that unitholder with a copy of the minutes without charge.
(3)
Any trustee‑manager of a registered business trust which contravenes subsection (1) or (2) shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $25,000 and, in the case of a continuing offence, to a further fine not exceeding $2,500 for every day or part of a day during which the offence continues after conviction.
