Licensed trust company may act as agent
(1)
Subject to subsection (2), a licensed trust company may act under any deed or instrument by which the licensed trust company is appointed agent or attorney for any person, and all the powers conferred upon the licensed trust company by any such deed or instrument may be exercised by such officer of the licensed trust company as the licensed trust company may appoint for that purpose.
(2)
Nothing in this section is deemed to authorise any person to confer upon a licensed trust company any power which may not lawfully be delegated by the person.
