Section 22

Appeal from order made by Commissioner

(1)

Any person who is affected by any order made by the Commissioner under section 21 may, within 14 days of the date of service of the order, appeal to the Minister who may rescind or vary the order.

(2)

Where an appeal is made to the Minister against any remedial order, that order does not have effect pending the outcome of the appeal.

(3)

Where an appeal is made to the Minister against any stop-work order, the affected person must comply with the order pending the outcome of the appeal, and the stop-work order has effect until it is otherwise rescinded or varied.
