Section 44

In any case where a prosecution under this Act is brought at the instance of, or is conducted by, an inspector, there is to be no objection to the competency of an inspector to give evidence as a witness in any prosecution for an offence under this Act by reason that the prosecution is brought at the inspector’s instance, or conducted by the inspector.
