Section 61

Every person who, immediately before 1 December 2007, is an authorised officer under the repealed Act continues in such appointments as if he or she is an authorised officer under this Act, and his or her appointment expires on the day his or her appointment would have expired if this Act had not been enacted.

Any subsidiary legislation made under the repealed Act and in force immediately before 1 December 2007, so far as it is not inconsistent with the provisions of this Act, continues in force as if made under this Act until it is revoked or repealed.

Any written law or document referring to the repealed Act or any provision of the repealed Act is, as far as may be necessary for preserving its effect, to be construed as referring or as including a reference to this Act or the corresponding provision in this Act, as the case may be.
