Use, etc., of nuclear material

Any person who, without lawful authority, receives, possesses, uses, transfers, alters, disposes of, or disperses nuclear material, where the act causes or is likely to cause —
(a)
death or serious injury to any person; or
(b)
substantial damage to property,shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to imprisonment for a term which may extend to life imprisonment.[26B
